Abrams’ “Lost” got an almost completely different cast
Synopsis
Survivors of a plane crash are forced to work together to survive on a seemingly deserted tropical island… Find out which stars missed out on one of the most popular TV shows of all time.
Sawyer’s character was originally intended to be an older, smooth-talking, suited-up con man from Buffalo, New York
However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line in his audition, then kicked a chair and cursed loudly in frustration, the writers liked the edge he brought to Sawyer’s character and decided to write Sawyer as a more southern, darker drifter. Jin and Sun are married and share the last name “Kwon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season.
[repeat line] Desmond Hume: See you in another life, bro
However, when Koreans marry, the woman never takes her husband’s last name. In fact, in Korea, it’s not even allowed to marry someone with the same last name, except in rare cases.
Edited for Lost: The Journey (2005)
The strange opening theme is of J.J. Abrams on his laptop in black and white in homage to The Twilight Zone.
Lost is one of those shows you only get to watch once in a lifetime
I started watching it again after a long time and it still holds up today. 10/10 stars
