Synopsis
Twenty-five years after an environmental collapse has rendered Earth uninhabitable, a mother, father, and son are trapped in their palace bunker, clinging to the rituals of everyday life, struggling to maintain hope and a sense of normalcy—until the arrival of a stranger, Girl, upends their happy routine. Son, a naive twenty-something who has never seen the outside world, is captivated by the newcomer, and suddenly the delicate bonds of blind optimism that have held this wealthy clan together begin to fray. As tensions mount, their seemingly idyllic existence begins to crumble, and long-suppressed feelings of remorse and resentment threaten to destroy the family’s delicate balance. But their reckoning with difficult truths also points to another path, one based on acceptance, love, and the ability to change.
